When you practice stuff with your dog, training sessions should be short and sweet, like 5-15 minutes throughout your time at home.  All of the training games you’ll learn inside this program can be played anytime throughout the day and all even during the current daily routines you have with your dog such as meal times, when going out the door for walks, and when sitting watching tv or eating dinner.

This program will help your dog stop or avoid any excessive barking, chewing of your furniture, jumping on you or guests, digging holes in the backyard, pulling on the leash while out on a walk.

Students can start to see results on the very first day they start training. Students that put in time and effort consistently and follow along with the program’s step-by-step approach will see the quickest results.

All training is done using a positive and gentle approach, you will learn how to let your dog know they did a great job. You won’t be left with pockets full of food either because I will teach you the best way to use them, and to stop using them, and still get your pup to follow commands the first time you ask even when you DON’T have a treat.

In the beginning you will need a regular 4’ or 6’ leash that feels comfortable in your hands, low, medium and high-value training treats, and ideally something to hold treats like a training pouch.

No dog is too young or too old to start this program. Most puppies start training the day they are brought home. The oldest dog to use our training programs so far was 12 years old.

It’s always better to face potential problems proactively rather than trying to fix them after they’ve started, but this course is still very effective for families with older dogs too!

Your dog doesn’t need to have “problems” in order for training to begin. As a matter of fact, owners that started their dog’s training before any problems arise experienced their dog having better listening skills when asking for commands such as sit, down and come. Dogs that start training sooner rather than later have a better handle on their manners too. This means they don’t jump on people to say hi, but instead approach people, sit, and wait to be petted.
